Thurston County Food Bank

About this project

Thurston County Food Bank received funding from Pugent Sount Electric to install nearly 100 kilowatts of solar to power their new facility in Tumwater. The new facility creates more space to accept bulk donations of food and to accommodate larger volunteer groups. The food bank distributes millions of pounds of food every year to nearly 50,000 individuals.

“A&R was vital in helping the team understand what needed to happen for these buildings to receive solar, and made the transition very seamless through the planning phase. [The installation] was carried out by thoughtful, user friendly installers that provided a high level of quality. The quality is proven by the fact that this system has been reeling in solar credits for the owner for 5 years now without any issues!””
