North Creek Self Storage

BOTHELL, WASHINGTON

About this project

The owners of North Creek Storage were looking for ways to lower their annual operating costs and thought solar would be just the way to do it. With lots of roof space and little shade, their new 64 kW SunPower system will save them over $5,200 a year — a savings that will grow each year as the electricity rates in the area increase. Opting for the most powerful, high efficiency panels commercially available enabled them to get the best technology with the best warranty, dovetailing a nice payback with long term reliability.

“A&R was vital in helping the team understand what needed to happen for these buildings to receive solar, and made the transition very seamless through the planning phase. [The installation] was carried out by thoughtful, user friendly installers that provided a high level of quality. The quality is proven by the fact that this system has been reeling in solar credits for the owner for 5 years now without any issues!”
