Storage systems–including Tesla Powerwall–are based on relatively new technology. Someone can’t simply read a manual and understand the nuances of installing it.

A&R Solar is one of a handful of Certified Tesla Powerwall Installers in the Pacific Northwest. This means we’ve been through a rigorous training program from Tesla. Furthermore, we’ve logged hundreds of hours researching energy storage solutions. We have an in-house research and development team that beta tests these systems before offering them to our customers.

If a contractor tells you they can install storage, ask them for their credentials and how many systems they have installed. Ask for references particular to storage and then call those references.

We want people to adopt storage systems, but we also want customers to wisely choose an installer, even if that ultimately isn’t us. Having honest, competent, experienced solar contractors makes this growing solar industry stronger.

Things You Should Know Before You Go Solar
We’ve compiled some of the questions we have received over the years. We think people should ask a solar contractor some tough questions when they are considering installing solar. We want you to have the information you need so that you can make the decision that is best for you. Customers who are educated about solar make our industry stronger.
