Shoreline Solar Project’s Summer Fair!

The Shoreline Solar Project has announced their 2008 Sustainable Living and Renewable Energy Fair will be held July 19 from 10am to 8pm in the Meridian Park School parking lot.

The event is the largest renewable energy fair in the Puget Sound area and will feature vendors representing solar power and nearly every other imaginable facet of renewable energy. This year there will be a silent auction and Haute Trash fashion show held in accordance with the fair. It will be July 18th at the Aurora Church of the Nazarene.

In 2004, the Shoreline Solar Project was founded by Larry Owens and has installed public photovoltaic solar power systems at Meridian Park School and Parkwood Elementary School through Seattle City Light’s Green Power Program.

The first fair held by the Shoreline Solar Project was June 12, 2004.
