Consider that solar doesn’t always have to go on your roof

PACIFIC COUNTY, WASHINGTON

About this project

We’re used to installing solar on homes, garages, sheds, and ground mounts, but this Southwestern Washington homeowner had a different idea. He didn’t want solar on his roof. Instead, he built a metal structure that would house his solar panels. The 6.72 kW system is projected to offset more than 80 percent of his energy usage and will likely be the steepest roof we ever install on.
