Northwest Solar Tour this Saturday…

The American Solar Energy Society’s Northwest Solar Tour is going on this Saturday, October 4^th in communities from Bellingham to Tacoma (The Kitsap Solar Tour will take place October 11^th.) You can check out some of the solar power systems throughout the Northwest and see what other folks in your community are doing to create their energy independence. The tour is self guided and you can print out your tour maps by county at solarwashington.org.

Attendees are encouraged to take photos on the tour and send them to Solar Washington for use in future promotions of the event.

The program is part of the ASES Nation Wide Solar Tour designed to generate interest in solar power and provide a day where home owners can see how other people are using solar power and get ideas for the development of their own system.
