About the position

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, inventorying, and kitting of product. H/She will support the installation team by providing the equipment and materials necessary to execute an installation in the field.

Additionally, h/she will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities and vehicles. Finally, the warehouse assistant will maintain a constant focus on safety, both personally and for the safety of others.



  • Keep accurate and up to date inventory of all products stored in the warehouse and stockrooms.
  • Permanently label all tools and track their whereabouts.
  • Perform monthly (light) and quarterly (full) audits of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Partner with Accounting regarding job cost re-allocations
  • Track and document all broken or failed equipment and coordinate with service department if RMAs are needed


  • Secure and maintain clean, neat and orderly areas including the warehouse, side rooms, vehicle fleet and carport areas.
  • Make sure all vehicles and crews are properly stocked with necessary installation and safety equipment.
  • Properly recycle or dispose of used materials.


  • Safely operate forklift to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging and transporting.
  • Check all incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
  • Maintain good record of all incoming and outgoing tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Process outbound shipments to our OR branch as needed


  • Partner with the purchasing department and outside vendors to ensure materials are properly ordered and delivery dates are met
  • Update Salesforce in real-time with the status of each job kit
  • Prepare and organize job kits for installation crews.
  • Follow up with Project Managers regularly to ensure all details related to a job are planned for
  • Support installation crews in the field with on-site deliveries as needed.
  • Operate engraving machine for stock and custom placard production.
  • Strive to continually improve jobsite performance through offsite job preparation.


  • Maintain a current driver’s license
  • Possess certification to drive a forklift
  • Possess OSHA 10 safety certification


  • $15-18/hr, depending on experience. Includes medical/dental, 401k w/ employer match, annual education stipend, and a path to employee ownership, recreational/gym annual stipend, and an at-cost solar PV system.
