IKEA is one of the world’s leading corporations when it comes to powering its facilities with solar energy (nearly all of IKEA’s stores in the US are covered in solar panels to help power the store’s lighting and HVAC equipment). When it came time to add solar to IKEA’s reconstructed store in the city of Renton (just south of Seattle), development partner REC Solar hired A&R Solar to manage the local installation over a period of approximately two months. Currently, this solar array is the largest in Washington state.

“A&R was vital in helping the team understand what needed to happen for these buildings to receive solar, and made the transition very seamless through the planning phase. [The installation] was carried out by thoughtful, user friendly installers that provided a high level of quality. The quality is proven by the fact that this system has been reeling in solar credits for the owner for 5 years now without any issues!””
