In my spare time I enjoy the great outdoors — and the great indoors! I love hiking, camping and rock climbing, as well as baking, sewing, and reading.

Volunteer Work
I used to be an English language tutor for newly arrived Syrian refugees. We still keep in touch!

Favorite Nonprofit
Pygmy Survival Alliance, which works with villages of ethnic Batwa people in Rwanda. The nonprofit’s anti-poverty strategy is community-led, comprehensive, and has been tremendously successful.
