Pets for Vets. Not only does it help save unwanted pets from being euthanized, but it partners them with our military veterans who return with physical and emotional trauma, in particular PTSD. I have a large number of family members who served in and retired from the military, including an uncle who never fully emotionally recovered from Vietnam, as well as friends who returned from Iraq & Afghanistan with PTSD. I believe we should be doing whatever we can to help them.
