Community support in 2018

We have a fun tradition at A&R Solar of allowing our employees to decide what organizations the company should donate to at the end of the year. During the past two years, we’ve extended that to our solar customers, allowing them to nominate nonprofits to show community support.

We received amazing recommendations! We were happy to see groups that care for the elderly, help veterans, maintain hiking trails, stock the shelves of food banks, take care of pets, and provide activities and friendship to those who need it. They help people in small towns and big cities across Washington and Oregon. These donations are in addition to the various solar and clean energy organizations that the company supports through sponsorships during the year.

Here is the list for 2018. Most organizations will receive a donation of between $100 – $800, and others will get a bit more.
