A&R Solar is a leading solar installer in the Northwest. We employ passionate, talented people who want to do the right thing for our customers and the environment. We aren’t scared of extra paperwork or detailed RFPs. A&R Solar has installed megawatts of solar for public projects including schools, local government buildings, libraries, food banks, public utilities, and more. We understand the unique complexity of a public project including new construction and retrofits.
Our project experience ranges from a few kilowatt residential projects to multi-million dollar projects for public and private utilities. Our company is bonded and maintains adequate insurance policies to satisfy the needs of public projects.
Insured and bonded general and electrical contractor registered with the State of Washington and Oregon and in good standing order. Additional proof of these licenses, certifications, and insurance limits are readily available upon request.
A&R Solar's team has more NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certified professionals than any other solar installer in the Pacific Northwest.
With an emphasis on training and safety, A&R Solar has never had a time-loss accident on site. All employees are trained using the guidelines of NABCEP and remain current on OSHA safety standards.
We believe in corporate responsibility which is why we’re proud to be a B Corporation. A Certified B Corporation is a new kind of company that uses the power of business to invest in, and help solve, social and environmental issues. We meet higher standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. We conduct business on what we call our Triple Bottom Line, measuring success by our social, environmental, and economic impact. Our solar energy solutions help homeowners, local governments, and businesses slow the destructive effects of climate change. At the same time, our customers are gaining energy independence and supporting a local, green economy. The result is a cleaner, safer planet, increased energy independence, and a robust local economy.
