Every system built to perform, and every customer treated like they matter.
Lower Monthly Energy Bills
Every kilowatt-hour you produce offsets what you’d normally buy from your utility, cutting monthly costs and saving thousands over time.
Energy Security
Pair solar with a home battery to keep essentials running during power outages and store excess energy to be used at night.
Protection Against Rate Changes
As utilities rates increase, solar gives you a built‑in hedge against unpredictable costs.
Sustainable Living
Generate clean energy at home and reduce your carbon footprint in the region you love.
Get the performance you expect, or we’ll refund you 110 percent of the difference, guaranteed. We’ve got you covered in the event something goes wrong during the first decade of operation.
Sometimes technology fails. If you need us to replace faulty equipment, any labor costs associated with this effort are on us for the first 10 years after your purchase.
Northwest Homes, Real World Results
Going solar isn’t just about installation day; it’s everything before and after.
From consideration to long-term support, these homeowners didn’t just want solar; they wanted an energy partner focused on building and supporting their energy future.
We’re proud of our work, and we’re ready to show it off. Oftentimes, speaking with existing solar homeowners can help you feel secure in moving forward, so we welcome the request.
We’ll connect you with a homeowner in your area.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does residential solar cost?
Pricing depends on your roof, energy use, and equipment. We’ll model production, incentives, and lifetime savings so you can decide with data.
What incentives are available?
Incentive availability is always evolving on a federal, state and utility level. contact us today to learn about current incentive available in your area.
How does net metering work?
Net metering is a balance of your energy consumption and solar production. When you produce more energy from solar than your home consumes, your net meter spins backwards and applies ‘credits’ to your utility account. Then, when your home is consuming more power than the system is producing, you use those credits from your account
Will solar work during a power outage?
Without a battery, solar will not work during a power outage. National Electric Code requires grid-tied solar systems to shut down automatically to protect utility line workers. Adding a battery allows you to power your home during outages and use stored energy at night.
What is the typical timeline?
After signing with A&R Solar, installation typically takes a few weeks to a few months, depending on permitting and utility approval timelines. We handle all the paperwork and work to move your project forward as quickly as possible.
What maintenance is required?
Solar is low maintenance — not no maintenance. We encourage you to monitor your system regularly through the provided monitoring app. Our dedicated service team is here to answer any questions you may have for the lifetime of your system
How long do panels and inverters last?
Panels typically 25+ years for power output; other components vary. A&R adds 10‑year workmanship and labor coverage.
What about winter/cloudy days?
Your system is sized specifically for Northwest weather patterns, accounting for lower production in winter and higher production in summer. You’ll still generate meaningful energy year-round, and net metering credits from sunnier months help offset lower-production periods.
How will I monitor my system?
App/portal access plus our performance review support.
