Meet the Grow Community, Washington’s largest solar neighborhood

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON

About this project

A&R Solar installed the first solar panels on homes in this unique residential community in 2013. Since then, we’ve added a total of 309 kW with more in the planning stages. By the time the next phase is completed, the neighborhood–made up of single-family homes and multi-family rentals–will have around 1,500 solar panels installed on rooftops.

Reducing demand from utility, which receives 60% from coal and natural gas
